She was a great supporter of the library and served on our library board for 12 years.
She was always eager to help with any program that needed additional assistance. She especially loved our dress up events whether it was being the Train Conductor for the Polar Express, wearing her fancy hat at the Royal Wedding Tea, or making everyone laugh as the lady trying to find her missing dog at our Halloween Party. She always lit up the room with her infectious smile and bubbly laughter.
Words can not express the sadness that is being felt in this historic building that she took such pride in helping to renovate.
She will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
A Celebration of Life is being held on Saturday, February 9 at 1-3:30 pm at the Peru Civic Center, 225 E. Riverside Dr. The family has asked in lieu of flowers that donations be sent to the Miami County Community Foundation, Sharon Edwards Fund.
