Our Board

The library board consists of an appointed 7 member volunteer board. There are 4 separate agencies that appoint members to our board: City of Peru Mayor’s Office, Peru City Council, Miami County Commissioners, Miami County Council, and Peru Community School Corp – with the school board appointing 3 of the 7 library board members. A board term is 4 years (unless a partial term is served first) and only 4 terms may be served.
